Training For Success
At Drive, we have put a major focus on providing an environment of success and motivation for our employees.
In 2019, we introduced our Drive Mentorship program. A program designed for our sales and service staff to better understand how to communicate with our customers. We've taken the randomness out of our organization so that everything we do every day is focused on exactly what the customer needs. We want to provide our staff with the tools and techniques so they can retain customers in our competitive industry and achieve results.
That is why we have built our Drive Institute Program; a 5-week course ran by our Performance Manager. All new Brand Ambassador employees take this program before going to speak to customers at their respective dealerships. During this program, attendees have the opportunity to get their OMVIC licence (if they don't have it already), learn learn about our companies’ expectations and why we're challenging the current industry standards.
A huge focus of our program is scripting: learning how to speak to a customer, what to say when it's time to say something, how to avoid saying the wrong thing, keep the customer engaged and building rapport throughout the transaction. Our program also focuses on tone and body language. How we speak and present ourselves to others is very important. Our attendees also have the chance to dive in deeper to other competitors and learn about current processes that are taking place outside of our group. Throughout the program, we work on repetition, continuously going through the skills and format you learn during your time here.
We’ve adapted the process of aviation, we're taking off down the runway and V1, which means stopping the airplane is no longer an option. The passengers are in their seats, the captains have the throttles at full, and it's time to rotate and take flight. Drive Autogroup is at this point now; we're ready to take flight.
